As a member of the Practice Development team within Mid-West Mental Health Services the post holder will be required to:
Participate in the quality and practice development agendas for nursing.
Lead, support and drive a culture of innovation, quality and clinical effectiveness to promote the continuous improvement of quality person centred care.
Be responsible for facilitating change and learning to support staff to drive a culture of innovation, quality, education and clinical effectiveness.
Implement the value statements of our Nursing Vision for Mental Health Nursing Services.
Extend and expand clinical supervision.
Implement, monitor and evaluate the Restriction Reduction Strategies.
Demonstrate progress using key performance indicators.
Implement quality/practice development initiatives as directed by the Practice Development Coordinator.
Deputise for the Practise Development Coordinator and represent the Practice Development Unit as requested
The CNM 3 will also be involved in the continuous development of quality healthcare delivery at the relevant service and may serve on various committees as directed by the Area Director of Nursing.
