Claremont, California, United States
Introduction

Perth’s specialist nursing community is tightknit. Word travels when a service is clinically excellent and patientcentred. City Fertility is expanding in Western Australia, and we’re looking for an experienced IVF Nurse Coordinator to lead endtoend treatment coordination for patients across metro and regional WA—bringing global standards of care close to home.

The Company

With 21,000+ babies over 21 years and the backing of the CHA IVF global network (35+ years of international reproductive medicine), this is a rare opportunity in WA to practice at a nationally scaled, globally connected level, without leaving Perth. Fertility Specialists is a partner of the City Fertility and CHA IVF global network, which has a 35-year track record as world-renowned pioneers in reproductive medicine.

Why this role is different (and why it matters in WA)

  • Global expertise, local impact access evidencebased protocols, treatment innovations and multidisciplinary thinking from a national service and the CHA IVF network—then apply them to the needs of WA patients and families.
  • Scale and support you won’t find everywhere work within a mature, clinically rigorous model that still feels personal—so you can focus on patients, not reinventing systems.
  • A voice in a smaller market in WA’s close community, your clinical leadership is visible. You’ll mentor junior nurses, collaborate directly with clinicians, and help shape how worldclass IVF care is delivered locally.
  • Continuity of care you can be proud of walk beside your patients from first consult through stimulation, procedures and pregnancy handover—making complex journeys feel clear, compassionate and coordinated.

Description

The Opportunity — What you will do

  • Coordinate endtoend IVF/ART cycles: bookings, timing, medication plans and seamless transitions across consults, procedures and followup.
  • Manage theatre/procedure lists and resources to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
  • Educate and empower patients with clear, culturally respectful information at every stage.
  • Communicate results and next steps with clinical accuracy and genuine care.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation aligned to NSQHS standards and clinic protocols.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (nursing, fertility specialists, scientists, admin) to manage risk and deliver excellent outcomes.
  • Mentor junior staff to build capability and confidence.
  • Support quality and readiness through stock/equipment oversight, audits and improvement initiatives.

What you will bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (meeting NMBA standards).
  • Experience in IVF/ART or women’s health with demonstrated cycle coordination or comparable specialist care coordination.
  • Theatre list and dayprocedure coordination skills with strong situational awareness.
  • Exemplary communication—able to translate complex information with empathy.
  • Sound clinical systems capability (EMR, MS Office) and meticulous documentation.
  • Working knowledge of NSQHS standards and clinical compliance in dayprocedure settings.
  • A supportive, collegiate approach to mentoring and team collaboration.
  • Eligibility under the Nurses Award 2020 (typically Level 2–3 for coordination roles).

(If you are IVFcurious with strong women’s health experience and the right fundamentals, we would still like to hear from you.)

What your week feels like here

  • Purposeful caseloads designed for continuity, know your patients, not just the numbers.
  • Protected time for patient education, documentation and multidisciplinary huddles.
  • A stable dayprocedure environment with wellrun theatres and predictable workflows.
  • Clinical variety—from straightforward cycles to more complex cases supported by our national and CHA IVF network.
  • Structured onboarding and ongoing development—case reviews, inservice education, access to national practice forums and pathways into senior coordination, quality or education streams.

Why join Fertility Specialists - City Fertility (WA)

  • Make a bigger impact in a smaller market and elevate the standard of care for WA patients—metro and regional—while working with national resources.
  • Grow your expertise and access national/CHA IVF education, secondopinion pathways and shared learnings you won’t easily find elsewhere in WA.
  • Be part of a valuesled team where Compassion, Respect, Commitment, Quality and Communication aren’t posters on a wall, they are how we practise, teach and lead.
