Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care

- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition

- Educate patients and their families on health management, post-discharge care, and treatment plans

- Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent preferred

- Proven experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple priorities

- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems

- BLS and ACLS certification (if required)
