Schedule: Full-Time Days (7a - 7p), rotating weekends

Twenty-Five bed Med-Surg, reasonable nurse-to-patient ratio with a supportive manager that prioritizes patient safety and positive outcomes. Preceptor programs for new nurses to help with transition into Med-Surg and opportunities for learning/professional development such as charge nurse, preceptor, and clinical ladder program. Flexibility in schedule that allows for continuing education or balance between work and personal life.

How you’ll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for: 

Applicants must have a current VA or compact RN license. Additional requirements include:

· Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

· ACLS  and PALS  within one year of hire
